Young Voices For Water

(YVFW) is a youth-led, action-driven non-profit dedicated to tackling one of the planet’s most pressing challenges—water security. From advocating for clean and equitable water access to raising awareness about climate resilience, we are mobilizing young leaders across communities to be the voice, the force, and the solution.

Who We Are

The Young Voices

Young Voices For Water is a youth-led nonprofit organization committed to championing the cause of clean, safe, and accessible water for all. We believe that water is a right—not a privilege—and that young people have the power to drive global change.

Through advocacy, education, and on-the-ground initiatives, we empower the next generation to speak up and act boldly for a water-secure future.

From advocating for clean and equitable water access to raising awareness about climate resilience, we are mobilizing young leaders across communities to be the voice, the force, and the solution.

Why Water?

– 1 in 4 people globally lack access to safe drinking water.
– Water scarcity affects more than 40% of the world’s population.
– Millions of children miss school due to water-related diseases or responsibilities. We believe this can change—and it starts with us.

What We Do

We believe that water is a right—not a privilege—and that young people have the power to drive global change.

Our Projects

At Young Voices For Water, our projects are rooted in community needs, youth innovation, and sustainability. Here are some of the initiatives we’re proud to lead and support:

The Clean Streams Campaign

A youth-powered effort to clean and restore polluted water bodies in urban and rural communities. We organize clean-up drives, awareness walks, and school-led science projects to monitor water health.

Impact:

10 tons of waste removed

25+ local streams cleaned

800+ student volunteers engaged

Water Wise Schools

An education initiative that brings water literacy into classrooms. We partner with schools to teach students about water conservation, sanitation, and hygiene through interactive workshops and eco-club activities.

Impact:

  • 100+ schools reached
  • 10,000+ students trained
  • Creation of youth-led water committees in schools

Clean Water Access Projects

In areas where clean water is scarce, we work with engineers, local leaders, and youth to implement practical solutions such as solar-powered boreholes, water filters, and rainwater harvesting systems.

Impact:

Ongoing maintenance led by local youth task forces

15+ clean water systems installed

20,000+ people gained access to safe water

Water Is Life

And our voices are the future. Together, we are the tide of change.
